What happens if I connect a 120V Wii adapter in a 230V socket?
ByIf it burns out, what burns out the adapter only or the wii device as a whole?
I have already checked the label, and it says 120V, but i already plugged it into a 230V, did the adapter burn out only or the wii too?

Most adaptors these days work from 90-240V. Have a look at the label on the adaptor.

It may be a universal adapter but you will need to know for sure.
Look at the adapter closely – some are designed for universal voltages – it will say something like 100 – 240 VAC if it is universal.
If you are not sure – don’t risk it – you could damage the game.

Double the voltage, double the current available, how is your machine fused. You can only draw the current that you need. I forgot, double the voltage, then double the output voltage. I do not know what adapter you used. Does it have a voltage limiter? Does it have a fuse?
Do not use anything that gives an output voltage of more than 1 volt above the required imput, for low voltages. That is the allowance for length of cable.
